We LOVE Teachers

It is the time of year when we get show our appreciation to those men and women that TEACH and LOVE our children.  With the latest school shooting in Florida, I have been thinking about how much our teachers, school administrators, other staff, and educators in our children's life really do for our students.  I have no doubt that my kids teachers would do everything possible to keep my kids safe in the event of a disaster.  I have been reminded of how blessed my kids are to have these teachers with them everyday.  They spend more waking weekday hours with my kids than I do.  I have no doubt that they spend hours of their personal time, their own money, and countless hours worrying and planning on behalf of our children.  Our school Teacher Appreciation is this coming week and I want them to know just how thankful we are for all they do.

Our School PTA came up with a theme for the week and asked us to bring specific items for the week.  When I saw the daily themes, I decided I wanted to gift cards this year.

Our Monday theme is: Your teachers gets up bright and early to be here each day, bring something that might make his or her morning easier - granola bars, lip balm, gas card - anything you can
think of!

I decided I wanted to give the gift of breakfast.  I found a cute printable here that I wanted to use, so I headed to the bagel shop.  They had the cutest little box that looks like their box that holds the Baker's Dozen.  They were kind enough to share these cute little boxes for my gift cards.

Tuesday: Please write a Thank You note to your teacher; our teachers do so much every day, this is a good time to let them know they are appreciated and bring a little sunshine to their lives.

I always think a Thank You card is nice.  My boys never have much to say, so when I found this printable, I knew it would be perfect.  I also wanted to attach a gift, so I decided on a night out and attached a movie gift card.
Wednesday: Let's brighten up the classroom!  Please bring school supplies to re-stock the classroom: clorox wipes, kleenex, highlighters, expo markers, pencils, etc.

I couldn't find a printable that was fitting for a gift card for supplies, so I had to make my own.  I used some digital Shabby Miss Jenn - school time digital papers.  I only purchased the personal use papers, so at this time I can not share the image.  However, here is the poem that I used.

Thank You for SUPPLY-ing me with BRIGHT ideas and knowledge that STICKS!!

Thursday: Send your teacher a little sunshine!  Let them know it's a TREAT to be in their class by sending a treat for your teacher to enjoy!

We love hitting up our local Soda and Sweet shop, so we thought it would be fitting to get a gift card to one of our favorites.  I found this cute printable  that was perfect for our treat gift card.

I used some cute adhesive dots and twine to attach all my gift cards to the different printable's.

I hope this inspires you to show the teachers in your life some love this year!!  Let them know just how grateful you are for all they do!!!
