Halloween graham cracker house party

I wish I could say I was always the mom that was doing fun things with the kids. We do have fun but we are busy too. One day I decided we would do a Halloween House decorating party. All the parents sent the kids with bags of candy and I made graham crackers houses for decorating.
There was candy everywhere but they kids had a great time. Maybe I will do this one again.

Cub Scout are One in a Minion

For our Cub Scout Blue and Gold Banquet we decided on the theme
"Cub Scouts are one in a Minion"
I used the same pattern for the minion invitation as seen here.
I put the 8 on the front because we are the 8th Ward.
I cut out all the pieces of the minion invitation and at a Den meeting the Cub Scouts actually put their own invitations together. It was a great way for them all to be involved.
I also used my silhouette machine to cut different pieces for table and wall decorations. I turned anything I could into a minion.

The banner was a fun way to express our theme.

A ward member actually had these large minions she gave to us to use as decor.

I found these pre made minion cupcake toppers online and printed them at home and glued them onto a toothpick.
The boys loved the life see minion poster they could take their picture with.

If you "MUSTACHE"...

Another simple teacher appreciation week.
Our schools theme was
"If you "MUSTACHE" we think you are the best"
I cut out mustaches from the silhouette and put them on toothpicks and stuck them in cupcakes.
We also got balloons with the theme tied to it and mustaches for all the kids to wear.

Quick Teacher Appreciation Window

I was in charge of making some kind of sign for our teacher appreciation wall. Our theme was fish and this is what I did. I cut the letters and seaweed with my silhouette. We also cut out fish and our students wrote a note to the teacher and we put them all around the sign. Super cute and easy way to let our teacher know we appreciated her.
